Lessons are conducted in the comfort of your own home.
Lessons are held once or twice a week, on the same day and time.
Lesson duration varies based on the student’s age and skill level, which we can determine after the introductory lesson. I offer 30-minute, 45-minute, and 1-hour lessons.
The ideal starting age is typically six years old, but if your five-year-old is eager to learn, we can certainly give it a try!
Yes! I welcome students of all ages and skill levels.
Absolutely! I have extensive experience teaching individuals on the autism spectrum.
Practice time depends on the student’s age, level, and personal goals.
- For young beginners, I suggest 20 minutes of practice every other day.
- As students progress, they can gradually increase the duration and frequency of their practice sessions.
Yes! I frequently play duets with my students during lessons to help develop essential collaborative playing skills. Students may also be paired with others for duet performances if they wish.
Yes! Students can participate in two annual recitals:
- One in November/December
- One in May/June
Both take place at public venues. Additional performance opportunities are available upon request!
Students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of genres, including:
- Classical, Pop, Rock, Showtunes, Movie Soundtracks, Jazz, Ragtime, Religious, Patriotic, Oriental, Frequency Music, and more!
I personalize lessons to match the student’s musical interests while ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.
Yes! Lesson structure varies by student but generally includes:
- A lesson book
- A “fun” book with enjoyable pieces
- A “challenge” book to push skills further
- An exercise book focusing on theory and technique
Students progress through easy, medium, and advanced pieces while developing their music theory and technical abilities.
