"Paul has taught my daughter for three years and we have been impressed by how he has helped engender both a rigorous understanding of the skills to play the piano and also a love and appreciation for music. He explains musical concepts, technique, the artistry of perfecting a piece and background of composers in ways that are clear to her understanding and make her feel encouraged that she can accomplish hard things through practice. Paul’s steady and calm demeanor and way of interacting with kids has helped develop a trust that is manifest in ways like how excited my daughter is for lessons and how eager she is to practice.
